Clydesider Creative Ltd is the brainchild of Amanda Eleftheriades-Sherry, an experienced journalist who moved into community PR, research and communications in 2003.
Amanda Eleftheriades-Sherry – a journalist by trade she is passionate about encouraging others to tell their stories – both individual and organisational. She has helped community groups secure over £1million of funding, developed participatory action research, written reports for varied audiences and set up a Big Lottery funded therapeutic training project for people in recovery. She also helped set up a community newspaper and is the author of ‘Drink & Drugs: A Culture of Excess?‘. References and examples of her work available on request.
Jenny Watson – has 15 years experience working with community groups including supporting the production of an annual art exhibition for Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival. She has worked with people with learning disabilities, mental health issues and addictions. She was awarded the Provost’s Arts and Culture Civic Award and a National Millennium Gold Award for volunteering at the local hospital radio, in her spare time she is found with paintbrush or pencil in hand or as an occasional supporting actor on River City.
Charlie Eleftheriades-Sherry – is a professional photographer, budding writer and community activist. He has photographed a range of community events and campaigns as well as portrait and landscape work and is founder of Inclusive Images Ltd, a social enterprise which gives people a voice via the medium of photography. Michael McLaren – is a freelance photographer, he also volunteers for St Margaret’s Hospice covering community and fundraising events. A former volunteer for Dalmuir Youth Action Group, he helped design large scale community artworks. Examples of his work are available at www.michaelmclarenphotography.com
