Local artists can sign up now to showcase their work in the annual Open Art Show to be held later this year.
Applications of work in any discipline are welcome including fine art, photography, ceramics, textiles and jewellery design.
The artwork will go on display at the Open Art Show in Clydebank Museum and Art Gallery this winter.
Last year more than 6,400 people visited the show and over 100 works were exhibited. All works included in the show are for sale, and Clydebank Museum and Art Gallery operates the Own Art Scheme to allow purchasers to spread the cost over 10 months, interest-free.
The annual event also sees one artist selected to receive the Provost’s Prize, which is awarded for an artwork considered ‘exceptional’ by an invited panel of judges.
Artists wishing to have their work included in this year’s Clydeside Open Art Show should download an application form from www.west-dunbarton.gov.uk/openart and submit it online, or fill out a paper copy and return it to Clydebank Town Hall, by Friday 16 September 2016. An administration fee of £5 will be charged.
The exhibition will be on display at Clydebank Museum and Art Gallery from Friday 11 November 2016 to Saturday 4 February 2017.
