Knowetop Community Garden, Castlehill, Dumbarton

Free - no need to book

Spend a Saturday afternoon in the lovely surroundings of Knowetop community garden in Dumbarton West. The open day will feature the unveiling of a brand new artwork inspired by the site's former life as Knowetop Farm. The artwork has been created by Clifftop Projects in collaboration with local schools and Knowetop's wellbeing group as part of Clydesider's ongoing community activism heritage project. There'll also be family fun activities and the opportunity to share your memories and see old photos from the farm.

There is a toilet available on site and refreshments will be provided. Parking nearby is limited - please use public transport if you can. Nearest station is Dalreoch (15 – 20 minute walk); bus 206 (7 - 10 minute walk); parking at Leven Valley Enterprise Centre, Castlehill Road (10 minute walk). Parts of the site are accessible by wheelchair but the surface is quite rough. Please contact ahead of time if you'd like more information on access.
