Old Kilpatrick to Bowling Walk & Talk

Old Kilpatrick - meet at the Scout Hall on Erskine Ferry Road.

Free - no need to book although donations to Action Old Kilpatrick are welcome, please remember to bring cash.

The short walk along the canal between Erskine Ferry Road and Bowling Harbour is more historic and international than you might know. Apart from the stories of the people who worked on and lived beside the canal, there are connections which include the landing point of Glasgow Tobacco Lords, artists (some very famous) and the anti-slavery movement of the 19th century.

The path is even but can be very muddy. We will walk around 1.5 miles to Bowling. You can either walk back to the start or walk another half mile to Bowling station to catch the train back.
