Take a Minute Project
Clydesider created the first Take a Minute films in 2022 as a way to showcase and celebrate the fascinating heritage of West Dunbartonshire
These short films, fronted by local writer and musician Paul Murdoch and featuring awe-inspiring footage, were created to increase pride in our past and encourage people to find out more about historic local places.
The first set of films proved so popular we were granted funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to create a second series of 40 films. These continued to explore the amazing stories behind of some of the area’s most recognisable - and now, sadly, sometimes lost - places, like Singer’s Clock and the Bruce Street Baths.
A third series of another 12 films followed in 2025 and we’re now working on series four, featuring the stories of local activists and campaigners.
