Can You Help Food For Thought's Giving Club?
Local foodbank Food for Thought West Dunbartonshire is looking for new members to join their Giving Club.
The Giving Club aims to make sure specific items donated are those most needed.
And it is proving a huge success with well over a 100 members since its launch.
Every Friday members receive a detailed email of what emergency food aid items the organisation requires.
This ensures that everyone is able to help effectively and stock doesn't run low on high demand items.
Jessica O’Malley of Food For Thought said: “This project has been really important for us and allowed us to connect with more members of the community.
"We’ve had an excellent response and really seen a difference in the items that we are getting in, we are getting much more use from donations.”
Anyone who wants to join the Giving Club should email admin@foodforthoughtwestdun.co.uk or 013897439308
Alternatively donations are welcome at drop off points across the area.
